A Collection Of Occurrences In Terrestrial Sequences April 2021

Installation shots from The Cling an exhibition by Büro Sarıgedik and Bomontiada, Istanbul, April 2021.
In his book Order of Time, physicist Carlo Rovelli suggests that we should no longer think of the world around us as made of things, but rather perceive our surroundings as a network of events. A Collection of Occurences in Terrestrial Sequences is an installation piece that brings together two actors of the underground; potatoes and clay and weaves them into a network of events. Potatoes and clay appear in various forms and act in disparate temporalities, in collaboration with intermediaries such as water and heat.
