About:
Zeynep Fırat is a freelance photographer from Istanbul, currently based in Berlin, working between Istanbul and Europe. She specializes in documenting contemporary art exhibitions and events, as well as artwork reproduction photography, with a focus on accurately capturing the color, texture, and material qualities of artworks for artists, galleries, museums, and private collections.
After completing her B.A. in Photography at Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, she gained experience across various fields including food, product, and industrial photography, as well as working behind the scenes on film and commercial sets. Alongside her photographic practice, she has also worked with galleries and art organizations, developing a deeper understanding of contemporary art practices and production processes. Building on this background, she now focuses on documenting contemporary art projects.
